House Harron-Thul was a cadet branch of House Thul founded during the years leading up to the Great Galactic War

History[]

Inception[]

The founder, Tycho Harron, who would become known as "The Blade" for his renowned bladesman skills, completed a monumental and secretive task for the Thuls around 3672 BBY that has been lost to history, the task was the slaying of a rampaging Darkside beast that was beelining for the Thul Headquarters, for his heroics he was given Helen Thul's hand in marriage, and granted a noble house to make his own, this was the Cadet branch of house Harron-Thul, taken from the surnames of both Helen and Tycho.

Great Galactic War[]

During the war, the Harron-Thuls under Tycho fought in a number of minor battles as mercenaries, towards the end of the war, Tycho was slain in battle by a Jedi Master, he was commemorated with a plaque in the Harron-Thuls fief. His first son, Jensyn, succeeded him in 3654 BBY.

Cold War and Zakuul[]

During the 11 years of skirmishes and proxy wars that followed the signing of the treaty of Coruscant, house Harron-Thul returned to Alderaan along with its parent branch, and took up residence in the Thul Palace once it was constructed, once the Alderaanian Civil War began, the Harron-Thuls lead small amounts of soldiers as commanders. During the months before Zakuul began their invasion, Seklan II Harron-Thul, son of Jensyn and second in line after his brother Roatis, also began his military education. once Zakuul took over Alderaan, the house acted much like their overlord and kept their heads down, avoiding the ire of the Zakuul Star Fortress

Exile of Seklan II[]

Once Zakuul was defeated, the houses of Alderaan went back to their civil warring for the throne. in 3627 BBY, Seklan II led a force of around 200 Thul and Harron-Thul soldiers against an Organa outpost, he was overconfident and got nearly all of the men he led killed, this led to his banishment from house Harron-Thul by his reluctant father, Seklan fled Imperial Space soon after, as his family had gotten him exemption from the force-sensitive draft of the Sith Empire, he ended up in Republic Space and joined the Jedi a few months afterwards

Sponsoring a noble house.[]

3 years later Jensyn was holding court when he was visited by two beings, the former Imperial and Sith Intelligence operative Taliha Morden, and her enigmatic comrade. After this comrade talked to Jensyn for a bit, and Jensyn weighed the consequences of supporting a houses creation, he decided to help them, his decision was helped by Talihas friend revealing he knew where Seklan II was and that he was alive, this ingratiated Jensyn to them both (But mostly the friend) and contributed some land in the Jural Mountains hinterlands.

Behind the scenes[]

The idea for this house came to the author of it during his SWTOR RP's when he made a Thul character who was exiled by his father, the Thuls he was from being a cadet house was the way to make him have a character as a father without clashing with the established legends canon for legends.
