Hoth was an ice planet located in the Outer Rim. Nathaniel Kenobi Solo once went to Hoth. Asteroid Crystal-312248 crashed into the planet's core in 7,654 BBY, resulting in freezing the entire planet for millennia. It eventually thawed out in 543 ABY. This planet was home to little life in its coldest years, but notable species included Wampas and Tauntauns. This planet also served as a base for the Rebellion during the Battle of Hoth.
