Horace Ethel was a human male born in 62 BBY on the Outer Rim planet and Republic ally Orinda. Horace served with the Republic Navy and was the admiral in charge of the Eighth Army at the beginning of the Clone Wars in 22 BBY. Three months after the battle of Geonosis, Ethel died during a brief encounter with separatist forces near Patooine. Horace was promptly replaced by Fleet Admiral Erruouf Azimuth for the duration of the war.
