A hologram was projected three-dimensional representation of a person or object, normally used in communication. Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray used holograms to communicate with Dark Jedi Master Maul and a number of battle droids during the Invasion of Utapau,[1] as did Utapau Queen Sabé Arcadia to speak with Utapau Senator Malus Palpatine.[2]
