The Heavy Assault Armored Transport, or HA-AT, was a type of walker invented and used by the Alliance of Free Worlds during the Triumvirate Civil War. It was well equipped with long-ranged and short-ranged weapons and was covered in heavy-duty armor. Every HA-AT was only produced on Hutron, one of the main vehicle producers for the Alliance military.

Features[]

The legs of a HA-AT, which were supported by indestructable joints, were designed to be waterproof, shockproof and rustproof. Their feet were made to be able to walk on rocky terrains and float on water. One of these walkers contained turrets and blasters all around its body, even at the legs. Its outer body was made of seven thick layers of solid metals. There were at least twelve safety pods which would be used for escape. The HA-AT was a hardy vehicle, and the body was designed for harsh weather while the armor was to withstand low temperatures, massive heat, heavy fire, missiles, lasers, lightning, and explosions. The walker was based on the AT-ATs, but the design was improved.

Physical appearance[]

Each HA-AT stood on four towering legs. The head and body were cubic in shape.

Behind the scenes[]

At first, the author thought of a walker that had the word assault in its name, when he was about to create the article, he forgot the name already. He only remembered the assault part. And had 'misnamed', probably, this article.
