Heat suits were special clothing items created by MI5's Q'u Branch.
The heat suits were sets of jackets and trousers lined with heated wire filaments. The filaments were hooked up to a small battery pack in the back of the jacket, resting just below the shoulder blades.
MI5 utilized the heat suits in 32 BBY when they traveled to the ice planet Rinnk to attack the criminal organization SMERSH.
