Hanik Regueny was a male senator from Commenor.[1] During his tenure, he was regarded as a corruption-free politician, but the man did find himself caught between two corporate interests in 703 BBY.[2] Working the system, however, was not beneficial for him. He was murdered at the start of what later became known as the Seswenna Security Crisis. His underworld dealings and death were the first incidents in the broader scheme that provoked the attention of the GIN. He was murdered on Eriadu, in a conference room of the Eriadu Convention Center in Eriadu City.[1] Eventually, Regueny's dealings with the conspirators of the crisis surfaced, but his reputation on Commenor never diminished.[2]
