Han Solo was a male smuggler and commander for the Rebellion. He was the pilot of the Millennium Falcon with Chewbacca as his co-pilot. He first got caught up in helping the Rebellion by giving Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi transport to Alderaan. However, the ship was picked up by the Death Star, where Han participated in freeing Senator Leia Organa from prison. He took her and the others to Yavin IV, where he was rewarded for his efforts. He then was asked to leave, since the Rebellion could not allow the image of a smuggler spoil theirs, and traveled with Chewbacca. During their journey, the navigational system to the Falcon blew and Han took it to Hoth to fix it. He built a base there and a shield generator, which no one could locate. Shortly after that, the Rebellion arrived searching for a place to hide. Han rejoined their fight against the Galactic Domain, after reasoning that the Rebels image and his were not that different. He left them use the base as long as he could stay, and remained with the Rebellion until the end of the war.
