Halicon Karzded was a male Theelin Sith Lord who served under Sith Overlord Vedya Gasald during the New Sith Wars. Karzded desired his master, and she used his lust to bind him to her will. He shared her cold indifference to others and her fondness for schemes within schemes, though Gasald herself considered herself substantially more skillful at the latter than Karzded. Darth Hokhtan, a career soldier, considered Karzded an incompetent tactician and an upjumped sycophant; the two had some acquaintance before 1,387 BBY, and each despised the other. He attempted to recruit a young Onestiki Kiyrsabo from the Diva Preparatory Conservatory, but was beaten to it by Rhutizh'chal'safan.
In 1,387, Karzded had overall command of the Conquest of Milagro, and took pleasure in relegating Hokhtan to a subordinate command position where he was likely to be in greater physical danger. As the battle progressed and Hokhtan continued to survive, Karzded conspired with Gasald to keep Hokhtan and Darth Alecto in danger.
After Mali Darakhan led an assault on Milagro's government center and Darth Vaszas was killed, Karzded delayed a medevac for Hokhtan on the basis of combating riots at the various prison camps. By the time Hokhtan finally was medevaced to the Kiss of Death, the lightsaber wound to his knee was beyond the repair of bacta, which Karzded found pleasing.
When Gasald started her push toward Allanteen Six, she left Karzded as governor of Milagro. He arranged the sham election of Deordis Bevrelles as a puppet Prime Minister, but Karzded himself ruled Milagro with the aid of Kysl Ssron and other Sith Lords. Not quite a year after the initial invasion, however, Mali Darakhan returned and launched a counterinvasion. On the third day of battle, Darakhan's forces reached Rogeum in a blitz and Karzded attempted to flee to space. Darakhan caught him on the roof of the government center before he could escape, and the two dueled briefly before Darakhan killed Karzded with a stroke from hip to shoulder.
After the deaths of Karzded and Vaszas, Teyjean believed Gasald's council had lost the two members who were strongest in the dark side and most befitting the title "Sith", apart from herself.
