Gungan was the religion practiced by the people of the Gungan Empire. The supposed gods of the religion dictated that if a Gungan saved another beings life, that being would owe the Gungan a life debt, and vice-a-versa. Exiled Crowned Prince Jar Binks attempted to claim a life debt over Jedi Master Jard Dooku during the Invasion of Utapau after saving the Jedi Master's life, but Dooku in turn saved Binks's life and canceled out the life debt.[1]
