This nineteen year war nearly marked the end of the Emperor's Sith Empire. What started out as a small uprising ultimately led to the near destruction of the Empire. It was one of the darkest events in the Empire's history. It started in 3,950 BBY while ending in 3,931 BBY.
Prelude[]
In 3,950 BBY, the Jedi Exile arrived on Dromund Kaas searching for Revan. In this time she formed an partnership with Scourge and together they located Revan. To reach the Emperor they formed a plan that throw the city into chaos. During the turmoil, all of the then Dark Council Members are killed and a series of riots broke out. This event would have much greater consequences, as it would be one of the triggers for the Great Civil War that begun only some months later. Also with the death of the Exile and Revan's capture, the Ebon Hawk would fall into the hands of a Imperial Agent named Byron. Who would later re-paint it into a black and gray ship and install a new stealth system. The Ebon Hawk would now be transformed into the Night Vulture.
Start of the War[]
The War begun when Exitium returned from his imprisonment in his Sith holocron and persuade people to join his cause against the Emperor. At first, the war started merely as a small uprising but as time went on more and more people joined Exitium and eventually it became a full-scale war. The first official battle of the war was on Dromund Kaas. In this first battle, a large part of Kaas City is destroyed and half of the Empire breaks apart from the ones following the Emperor to join Exitium instead. The Emperor then decides to hatch a plan, reincarnate Exitium's old friend, The Dark Hero.
A Empire in crisis[]
As the war went on, both sides of the Empire started to go into a economic collapse. People were losing jobs and starving. To make matters worse, small groups on both ends were disappearing and many more were going on protests. Eventually, both sides of the conflict got so weak they had no choice but to avoid open warfare altogether and instead really on hit and run tactics. Neither one dared to wage open war or attack the others capital home.
End of the War[]
On 3,931 BBY, Exitium ordered all of his forces on a full scale attack on Kaas City. Within hours, the final battle was underway. While The Dark Hero went to Nathema to confront Exitium himself, his companions remind behind to stay and fight. Scarlett and Byron took command of two groups, one leading an assault on the enemy's capital ship while the other stayed on ground. Eventually, Scarlett and Byron killed Naiko and Nalma, the two generals for the rogue Sith. Meanwhile, on the ghost world of Nathema, The Dark Hero confronted Exitium and killed him for good. With their deaths, the Emperor and his forces won the war.
Aftermath[]
The Empire would over time rebuild itself. The Dark Hero would shortly after go into self-imposed exile and cut off all connection to the Force to shut down the link with the Emperor. For years after the war's conclusion the Sith lived in fear of another civil war happening.
Nearly three century's later the Empire would regain enough strength back to wage war against the Republic and the Jedi.
