The Glorians were a sect of the Shi'ido species that broke away from their brethren on Lao-mon and forged an empire in the Unknown Regions. Under the guidance of the enigmatic Waru, whom they knew only as the Magnificence, the Glorians eventually made their move against the galaxy at large in 35 ABY, infiltrating the Galactic Alliance and Imperial Remnant to topple both governments from within before launching a full-scale invasion.
History[]
Origins[]
It was a common belief among the Shi'ido that their involvement in galactic affairs was best kept to a minimum and that it was wiser to not exploit their shape-shifting capabilities.
This began to change in 4 ABY when the entity Waru was brought out of his reality due to a disturbance in the Force. From his permanent place on Crseih Station, Waru reached out and was able to touch the mind of a nameless hermit on Lao-mon. Said hermit's addled mind resulted in Waru's own breaking and the entity's simple desire to return home suddenly became one of conquest. Through the hermit, which became his Avatar, Waru rallied like-minded Shi'ido from the hermit's village. When their leader, Sarron Noole, joined the Avatar's cause, the villagers collectively exiled Noole and the Avatar to the predator-abundant jungles.
This did little to deter the pair and over time Noole and the Avatar were able to rally others to their cause, eventually forming a cult. As their numbers grew, their opponents dwindled and in time the cult had taken over Lao-mon, establishing the Glorian Empire. Naming himself emperor, Noole renamed himself Necros and prepared his people for the invasion that was to come.
