Gedar Olmo was a Dark Jedi who served the Confederacy of Independent Systems as a commander of military forces in the Senb'An'Tiin sector. Originally being a simple traveller skillful in martial arts, he was spotted by the agents of Darth Sidious. It was then decided, that he could be used as a promising opponent against the Jedi. At one point Dark Jedi Trillak wanted to make Gedar his apprentice, but he had to change his plans due to the plot conspired by Sidious.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Born on Bakura Gedar spent many years traveling around the Galaxy, and since his childhood he noticed that he had some unusual abilities, though he never truly tried to understand them. He simply referred to that as 'luck'.
Weaponry and duels were among his many interests, which explained his eagerness to learn as much as possible about different fighting forms, blades and blasters. During his many trips around the Galaxy, he once met a person, who introduced himself as a passionate collector of rare kinds of swords and sabers. Amazed by the talents of a young man, the stranger invited Gedar to his villa to show the collection, and Gedar could not refuse a possibility to learn more.
But in reality it was a trap, prepared for Gedar by the Dark Jedi Trillak. For several months he was collecting information about Olmo with the aid of his droid ZID-17, and now he wanted to test him, whether this person was a suitable candidate to become his apprentice.
Trillak was surprised to see the success of the test subject and started the long process of making Gedar Olmo a Dark Jedi, servant of the Sith and the dark side of the Force.
Clone Wars period[]
However Darth Sidious was displeased with the decision of Trillak and thus he ordered his servant to abandon the idea of training another Fore-wielder. The Dark Lord had other plans and in 22 BBY Gedar was sent back to Bakura, where he was later spotted by count Dooku. The Dark Lord received a special order from his master to appoint Olmo as a commander of the ground forces on Elecria. So he accepted the role similar to other Dark Acolytes, who served count Dooku during the Clone Wars.
The goal before Olmo was quite simple: he had to control the Elecrian revolutionaries and convince them to join the CIS together with the separatists from Prolla. Young Dark Jedi aided them in overthrowing the legitimate Administration of Elecria and start the plot against the Senb'An'Tiin Confederacy.
The Republic eventually learned of this crisis and sent its army to the planet with the permission of the leader of Senb'An'Tiin Federation Duvar Enego. The clone squad was led by a Jedi D'Nar that fought Gedar in a lightsaber duel while the Republic troops were liberating the capital of Elecria.
Gedar escaped the planet together with other separatists only to be killed with them at the end of the Clone Wars by the order of his own masters.
