The Galactic Domain, often referred to as merely The Domain, was the Sith-established government that succeeded the Galactic Republic. It was led by Palpatine and law was enforced by the white-clad stormtroopers.
The Domain was opposed by the Rebel Alliance, which was made up of several senators that did not agree with the self-proclaimed X's policies. The Domain fought with all of its resources to snuff out this Rebellion, but eventually succumbed to the seemingly less powerful organization, after the supposed death of the X.
