Terms	The Galactic Civil War comes to an end, and the Galactic Empire formally surrenders to the New Republic The Galactic Empire is to be confined to certain boundaries between the Core and Inner Rim. The Galactic Empire demilitarizes and abandons all Imperial Academies and Installations across the galaxy. The Stormtrooper Corps is to be dissolved. The Imperial Navy is to be dismantled. Financial reparations are to be paid to the New Republic. Coruscant is to be surrendered to the New Republic. Torture is prohibited.

The Galactic Concordance was a major and historic peace treaty that concluded the Galactic Civil War between the declining Galactic Empire and the New Republic.

The treaty was signed by former Imperial Grand Vizier Mas Amedda and New Republic Chancellor Mon Mothma on Chandrila following the Empire's Imperial Instruments of Surrender after its largest remaining faction, Gallius Rax's fleet, was defeated at Jakku in 5 ABY.

Despite the signing of the treaty, several Imperial fleets under the command of Grand Admiral Rae Sloane escaped custody and fled into the Unknown Regions.

Terms

Part I: Political Clauses. 

• Article I - The Galactic Empire is to officially cease all further hostilities with the New Republic and any independent world or entity.
  • Article I.II - The Galactic Empire is forbidden from engaging in espionage against the New Republic and its government.
• Article II - The Galactic Empire recognizes the end of the Galactic Civil War and the legitimacy of the New Republic as the sole ruling galactic government.

Part II: Territorial Clauses.

• Article III - The Galactic Empire as a political and military body is to be strictly confined to boundaries set between the Core and Inner Rim.
  • Article III.I - These new boundaries shall be drawn and determined by the Galactic Senate and the Galactic Empire will be obliged to accept and recognize their new territory.
  • Article III.II - The Galactic Empire is to renounce their claim on all galactic territory beyond the stated boundaries and not seek any further control or influence outside their newly designated regions.
• Article IV - The Galactic Empire recognizes the sovereignty of the New Republic and will not venture outside their assigned borders.
• Article V - The Galactic Empire renounces control of Coruscant over to the jurisdiction of New Republic overseers.

Part III: Military Clauses. 

• Article VI - The Galactic Empire must begin and complete the process of demilitarization by the next lunar year.
• Article VII - The official recruitment and mobilization of the Stormtrooper Corps is to be discontinued.
  • Article VII.I - The Galactic Empire must not possess an infantry that exceeds more than 100,000 personnel.
  • Article VII.II - The purchase or construction of any weaponry is strictly forbidden.
• Article VIII - The Imperial Navy is to have all starship fitted weaponry and cloaking devices effectively removed.
• Article IX - All capital-class vessels are to be officially manned at a limited capacity and must not exceed a crew over twenty personnel.
• Article X - The Galactic Empire is to immediately shut down and desert all military academies, laboratories, and installations.
• Article XI - The further usage and development of the Imperial war machine which includes the construction of walkers and starfighters are to be permanently halted.
  • Article XI.I - Dealings with military contractors of any sort are strictly forbidden.

Part IV: Reparations Clauses.

• Article XII - The Galactic Empire accepts its role in the atrocities committed during the course of its reign and will agree to pay full reparations towards the New Republic as well as any independent world or species targeted or affected by the Imperial regime.
  • Article XII.I - The Galactic Empire takes full responsibility for the annihilation of Alderaan and agrees to pay reparations towards the surviving Alderaanians.
  • Article XII.II - The Galactic Empire takes full responsibility for the devastation of Mandalore and agrees to pay repatriations towards the surviving Mandalorians.
  • Article XII.III - The Galactic Empire takes full responsibility for the devastation of Orish and agrees to pay repatriations towards the surviving Orishens.
  • Article XII.IV - The Galactic Empire takes full responsibility for the mistreatment, unlawful imprisonment, enslavement and torture of prisoners, both political and criminal, and agrees to pay reparations towards them.
• Article XIII - The New Republic recognizes that the financial resources of the Galactic Empire are more than adequate and will take full possession of these monetary resources as the form of compensation towards the affected worlds and individuals.

• Article XIV - The financial assets of all high-ranking Imperial officials that are either currently detained or deceased will immediately be seized by the New Republic.
  • Article XIV.I - Offspring of said Imperial individuals with participation or role within the Imperial regime, will not have their inheritances or assets frozen and will be allowed to continue as such.
