The Galactic Calendar Standard was the most commonly used measurement of time in the galaxy. The calendar is centered around the Corusant Solar cycle which was 368 days long. Several different epochs have been used since the calendar's creation, the most well known were the Treaty of Corusant and the Battle of Yavin.
Time measurement[]
The calendar was based upon the size and rotation of Coruscant. The standard unit of time was the standard second, sixty seconds make a standard minute, sixty minutes make a standard hour, twenty-four hours make a standard day, five days make a standard week, seven weeks make a standard month. A standard year consists of ten months, three Fete Weeks, and three holidays.
