Founder's Day, also known as The Burning of Qynaster was a holiday celebrated by Gargan's Empire. The observance of Founder's Day included burning an effigy made in the likeness of King Qynaster of Nylos, as remembrance of the Empire's might and the Gargan's indomitable will.
Celebration of Founder's Day also included a one-day cessation of all non-essential jobs. It was also tradition for citizens to spend time with family and friends in an evening dinner, which included prayers and songs dedicated to the Gargan and Ur.
The largest official event during Founder's Day included building a massive wooden statue of King Qynaster in Myrra's town square, where a massive gathering of children with their parents would light the effigy on fire while singing "My Guide, Nearer To Thee".
