Hey everyone. Just wanted to give you an update from the Wikia front. Very soon, Special:EmailUser will be removed as an option on Wikia. It's usage is infinitesimally low, and the number of bugs on it is high. Not only that, but it also does not fit with Wikia's communication plans—with Chat and Message Wall, contacting other users is easier than ever—or bug-fixing process. It's also only linked to on Monobook, so only a small handful of people even know it exists.
Given all of those circumstances, we've made the choice to remove it now. If you use it to contact people, which I know at least one or two people here do, you will want to make alternate arrangements. Let me know if you have any questions about this.
