  • I have an idea for a Criminal faction, kinda based on the black sun, but more of a corporate organization. I was thinking at first it was to be linked to most bounty hunter clans and other criminal organizations, but I dont know if it'll work in this time period.   • I'm not sure about a Black Sun-esque faction, Troyb, and I certainly can't imagine big corporations existing this time. However, you could make it sort of a slaving/bandit organization, which could certainly work. The image is nice, BTW. Unit 8311 20:09, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Don't be like that, Arav. We need as many people as we can for this project, and anyone who can write semi-decent articles are useful for this, and that includes you. It's not a problem if you can't spell or your articles aren't that good, because this is a community project, and we can easily fix that and help each other to achieve the best that we can. There.   • Great, thanks for rejoining Arav. Anyway, let's get down to business. Seeing as tom's planned meeting didn't work out as planned, let's discuss major story matters here. We need to plan how the war starts, otherwise it'd just be a 'everyone started killing each other cuz they felt like it thing. I think the war should be started by some minor, unimportant factions that can get quickly killed off, and then the other players get drawn in. Anyone got any other ideas?   • I like it Unit, however why wouldn't the big players join in originally? It's a colossal power struggle to for the empty void left by the Rakatans, but I like the small group idea. I think that it would be each group starting out small, and then the groups grow big. And, Troyb, basically it's everyone in the galaxy who wants a cut of power. Thanks for re-joining Arav. We'll also need to work out the territotires for the groups and, Troyb, you'll need to think of a name for your group. My ideas for territories is that the Necasian Military will have what will later become the core of the galaxy (Right now it's a load of junk planets) and the Zayre won't have anything; they just fled their planet and only joined the war because war is a Zayre's best friend and because they want a home.   • Well, I think that initially there should be an uneasy peace between the factions, but this peace quickly breaks down as they all start taking opportunities to bring each other down, perhaps using smaller factions as proxies to weaken one another. Remember, if it's just after the fall of the Rakata, the factions will need to consolidate before going into any conflict. As for territories, my Srav Federation will be based in the Inner Rim, roughly in the area where Cato Neimoidia is. And I also think that each faction should have their own 'theme' when it comes to their respective military technologies, if you know what I mean; e.g my faction is nuclear based, another could be based around droids and robotics, another could revolve around the Force and nature, etc, to give each faction its own feel.   • Yes I would like to hear the name, and I agree with the theme. The Necasian Military will be based upon brute force and simple but effective weapons like a shotgun, and the Zayre will prefer weapons such as vibroblades, or their own claws. Just so you know, if you guys use Neimoidians like Troyb is suggesting then you (and I know some of you don't care but I figured I'd point it out) will be going away from canon again.   • Well, if Troyb really wants to keep it Neimoidian, I suppose we can sort of skirt around canon and say that this Neimoidian was the result of Rataka evolution experiments or something like that, which is a bit of a silly 'retcon' but the only real reason I can think off the top of my head for keeping it Neimoidian. Anyways, I think we should also create some smaller, insignificant factions that serve only to be proxies and to get quickly killed off, just to fill some space, if you know what I mean.   • Unit is right. There should be some small factions. My Death’s Tongue Militia is really a group of Rodian Bounty Hunters scavenging abandoned ships and scavenging weapons. I want my Militia to work for a faction. My faction would work for a faction, killing and sabotaging bases for pay. For small factions to get killed off here are my ideas. I am good at writing small articles. They could be the first to discover the Rakata have fled.They are mini factions . I think there should just be 4 mini factions. A small mining colony looking for a good place to mine. They can have weapons for emergencies if you have played KotOR 2 (first area.). Second could be some Zabrak explorers looking for good farming lands. They have on land battles. Third could be a large group of 110 men who are military people looking for places to test types of weapons and ships. They are so called “Power Crazy” and fight for supreme supremacy and to be the best, strongest army in there region. They see the 2 factions peacefully doing their business and attack them to get their credits and equipment. The 4th mini faction could be a small gang of 10 ships. Each can fit 5 people so 50 bounty hunters come into the sector escaping from their rivalry gang. The enter the area and find the Power Crazy group and find out that their commander and some of the crew are wanted for not paying their debts to Inga the Hut, a rich and powerful hut (like Jabba) from the Planet called Cassia Umparis. The group’s names are

1: [[MCYY>28]] - a mining colony from a mining company called Yass Yaws Industry’s a small industry. (If you have a better name please say it MCYY stands for Mining Colony Yass Yaw.

2: I don’t have a name for the group, Something like Quonsette, a crew of 150 miners on a ship called Quonsette.

3: Hsia Militia – “Power Crazy”

4: Inga’s Boys- A group of 50 bounty hunter working for Inga the Hut.

I don’t know how the other big factions come. My understanding of the war is that they have a fight for land then it slowly progresses to just being a war not for the infinite Empire but for supreme supremacy. It is 70% war and 30% fighting for the remanets of the Infinite Empire. Well that’s my understanding. Also what are they fighting for? Planets? Weapons? Ships? Knowledge? Pleas explain. I think that for the time being, we should make it a 'prototype article' if you know what I mean, that could simply lay done the basis for future battle articles, and hence may or may not count towards the continuity.     • Good good. I'm aiming for some sort of status to this one, and here's my idea: A NM base is on a planet, and the SF land anfd try and take land for themselves. Whilst the SF are still fresh on, the NM go over, and give them a good boot up the bum, before the SF return, in greater numbers. Thus follows a large battle, in a swamplike terrain, adding to the dangers, and I'm also planning on creating some sort of carnivorous swamp plant which will add to the danger.   • I have a idea that there should be a Project Cruentus Picture Listing or PCOL. Like a link on Consensus Track where we list links to images like I have before so people in the project can find them. It would have for example a link to a pitcure to a battle involving clones. I would put it under the heading Battles. If you like it ill make it my self. It would vastly improve the finding of images for their articles. Tell me what you think. If you like it I will personly make it, listing the headings and links. If that is too compicated for you guys because it might be something else, I will write a small description next to it.   • Arav, that really is a good idea! But, please, don't abuse these maturity pills you seem to be taking. lol If you want to put a picture list like this into production, that would be great. And me an image maker? Who told you that? I barely do any home image editing. If you want someone with quality, ask Solus. He's the master. The images that you see that I edited, such as the Necasian Military logo, were done by a friend with photoshop. Sysrq868. Perhaps you've heard of him?     • Good good. Let's start planning. My idea was that this was one of the first encounters the Zayre have with the main galaxy after being forced from their home, and it's some rocky, mountainous world. Whilst travelling through some gorge, the DTM ambush them and the Zayre are forced to retreat back to the base of the gorge, where they retreat down the mountainside and into the forest. Naively, the DTM follow, but the Zayre have an ambush planned in the forest, and the battle is forced to spill out onto the steppes of a large, rocky mountain. What were your ideas?       • Done the Project Cruentus Picture Links! Can you please check if it is right and fix up some stuff if you think it needs fixing. Now to the battle. My militia cold have landed on a rock planet the Zare live on to find a wanted bounty hunter. Then the Militia are looking around trying to find civilisation. They start exploring over some places and notice a strange looking species. They see that they have many gold and precious things so they attack them. The Zare flee as you said. Then the militia wander into the forest looking for them, when suddenly they are attacked by a swarm of Zare. They fly and shoot arrows and throw spears at the militia. There are about 200 Zare and 300 Militia. Zare are too fast and too strong for the weak minded militia. They fight in hills and some in lakes. The remaining Militias hide in a small cave in a hill, the Zare are all gathered around it waiting for them to come out. The Militia stay there for 4 days hiding because they are completely outnumbered. The Militia are becoming insane and have a very powerful bomb carried by some militia before hiding in the cave. They throw the bomb out of the hole and detonate it killing the Zare and the Militia! Just like the Battle of Russan. It would wipe out my entire militia and wipe out one clan of the Zare, but the Zare will remember the Rodian species and kill them on sight because as my understanding of the Zayre is they hold big grudges.   • The picture drive looks fine to me. Anyway, here's what I have wrong with your idea: The Zayre have fled their planet; the DTM can't attack it as it's undiscovered and even the Zayre don't live there any more. Whilst I quite like the other battle idea, I don't like the idea of one bomb killing everyone. It's a bit corny having everyone die all at once. I think that this bomb should cause a large avalanche and wipe out a large portion of each army, but the Zayre who survived, aka the ones not involved with the battle, and the survivors, would hold a grudge against the DTM, and the DTM would be pretty angry with them for wiping out an entire battle force. How does that sound? The Zayre survivors would then re-unite with their army (the entire Zayre population) on the other side of the planet.   • Solid idea. So what are the causalities? 500 of the Military die out of 600 and 300 out of the 600 die in a Zayre clan. The Military has a total of 5000 soldiers.
