The Fonon V Separatist holdout was a Separatist holdout located on the planet Fonon V led by the B4 mega battle droid B4-307.
History[]
Formation[]
In the final hours of the Clone Wars, a Separatist fleet had regrouped above the remote jungle planet of Fonon V. However, three Venator-class Star Destroyers, two Victory-class Star Destroyers and four Arquitens-class light cruisers attacked, quickly destroying most of the fleet. One Providence-class dreadnought attempted to flee, but was disabled and crashed on the surface of the world. Some battle droids onboard ship survived however, including B4-307. With his leadership, they used the wreckage of the ship to create a base on the world. 2 MTTs from the ship served as shelters for the droids.
Meeting the locals[]
A few days after the crash, some primitive humans that lived in the area found the droids. While there was a brief fight, they eventually joined each other. B4-307 could not calculate why there were humans here that lacked any advanced technology, until he located the underwater remains of a starship.
Imperial attack[]
Seven years later, an Imperial Gozanti-class cruiser landed on the world to study it, not far away from the Separatist holdout. Several droids, including B4-307 went over to investigate, and discovered several stormtroopers, but B4-307 assumed these were clone troopers. They reported back to the holdout, but were then attacked by the Stormtroopers, who had traced them back to their base. While all the stormtroopers were killed, many droids and people of the holdout also died. They then travelled back to the cruiser, and killed it's entire crew, but one of them was able to send out a distress signal. B4-307 ordered everyone to get inside the ship, as more Imperial forces would soon arrive. Within one hour, everyone had left the planet of the ship, but they then encountered a Arquitens-class command cruiser. The command cruiser attempted to destroy them, but all the members of the holdout were able to escape into hyperspace. They traveled to Generis and joined the Atrivis Resistance Group.
