The Flying Eyeball was a mobile space station owned and operated by the Flying Eyeballs spy organization. At approximately 15 miles (roughly 24 kilometers) in diameter, the spherical space station actually looked like a giant durasteel eyeball and acted as the Flying Eyeballs base of operations.
History[]
The Eyeball was constructed in 32 BBY soon after the formation of the spy organization was approved by the Senate.
At the start of the Clone Wars, the space station was waiting near Nadiem to aid the Secret Galactic Intelligence Service in their investigation into the possible disappearance of Jedi General Sharkey.
Design[]
Appearing to look like a giant eyeball, the spherical eyeball-like space station had it's docking bays in the pupil of the eye, and around that was an indentation that looked like the eye's iris. It often seemed eerie to someone that approached it, having an eyeball stare back at them.
Aboard the space station was a small Q'u Branch workshop, meant to aid MI5 while out in the field.
Behind the scenes[]
The Flying Eyeball was created by Dubya Scott, and named after the fictional organization that owned it. (See also: User:Dubya Scott/Hockey)
