A fleet support ship, or referred as support ship, warship support, starship support, and simply as fleet support, was a type of military starship, or warship. Most fleet support ships were mainly light capital ships, frigates, and light cruisers fitted with weaponry to support other larger warships than its own size. The role was mainly used by Munificent-class Heavy Frigates whereas they were identified as heavy support ships due to the vast amount of weapons on them.
