The Fleet of the Seraph was an Eclipse Naval escort fleet with the sole purpose to ensure the arrival of Galactic President Angel to his destination. It consisted of nine Imperial V-class Star Destroyers, including the Midsummer Night.
This fleet was in command of Gilad Pellaeon, the only Grand Admiral of the Presidency within the New Empire.
The fleet first consisted of Imperial II-class Star Destroyers, then Imperial III-class before moving on to Imperial IV-class and then started to use the more heavier Imperial V-class Star Destroyer as it was more armed and armoured and performed better in ship-to-ship combat and proved that the other classes used earlier were truly out-dated and couldn't compare to the newer Imperial V-class model.
