Fleet Group Hot Blood was the fleet commanded by admiral Jaro Finn in the aftermath of Operation Wrath, which saw the destruction of his previous fleet, the Right to Rule fleet. The flotilla was composed of the surviving capital ships of the Right to Rule fleet, reinforced by a number of new warships of the Imperial Navy, including its new flagship, the Hot Blood.

In the wake of Operation Wrath, the majority of the Right to Rule fleet was wiped out, only three ships of the fleet making the retreat to Yaga Minor in the aftermath of the battle over Columus. The Right to Rule was severely damaged during the battle, and was anchored down at the Yaga Minor shipyards. The Eager Action and the Solitude, the last remaining ships of the fleet, were reinforced by the Finest Strike, the Oblivious, the Serpent and the Hot Blood, the last of which became the fleet's flagship.
