The Fleece Market was a criminal organization founded by Xandert Raohlis which was headquartered on Phaeda. The Fleece Market was originally intended as an altruistic venture, Raohlis intended to use the smuggling network he set up to funnel sorely needed supplies to the Outer Rim at drastically reduced prices. The influential Denni Vauss, after usurping leadership of the organization from Xandert, would usher the Market (as it was colloquially known) to a new plateau of prosperity. Nom Carver later became leader of the organization, taking on the alias of "Corsair", and led the organization well through the Second Galactic Civil War.
