The Flame Order was an order of Force adepts banned from the Jedi Order. They were called so because of the orange lightsabers they wielded. They were very fond of the dark side, but kept that a secret during their time with the Jedi Order. The initial reason for their exile was because they started new ideals, such as a new rank system, and then started trying to force it on the Jedi. A dark side power slipped, and they were banished.

They traveled to a remote world, then enforced their rules. They were considered very uncivilized, and based their system around barbaric behavior.

The Jedi were disgusted by them, usually calling them "Force Barbarians".

After gaining their new title, they had embraced the dark side of the Force enough to support their first nickname. All apprentices had to learn Force Blaze to become a Knight.

They weren't successful, and their numbers never reached 400, sometimes they even dwindled just to the Master and Great Apprentice.

Unlike the Jedi and Sith, who wore robes, they usually wore armor.

History[]

Capture[]

In 15 BBY, the Empire found the Flame Order headquarters on Vammen III, and assaulted it. The Flame Order was large and strong, but fell at the hands of the thousands of stormtroopers. A few sections of the order submitted to the Empire, and, as an experiment, Vader tried to turn them to the dark side.

Under Valen[]

After many of the escaped remnants of the Flame Order met up at Vammen III, Darth Valen became the Flame Order master, with Zhssohkss, Eaoiss, and Nadenn as Great Apprentices. They fought many raids, and became a great fighting force, even employing battle droids bought from Juc Fac. Eventually, they figured the only way they could defeat the Empire was by killing the Emperor in one surgical strike.

Ranks[]

  • Master: Only one was allowed at a time. He or she led the entire order.
  • Great Apprentice: The one to become the new master. The only way to change this was for the master to die(and thus the apprentice becomes the master)or for another adept to kill him, thus him becoming the next one.
  • Adept: Only 6 were allowed at a time, they were the best acolytes that there were. They and only they were allowed to engage a great apprentice in battle. If one of them was killed by another in the order, the one that killed him would take his place.
  • Acolyte: Only 100 were allowed. They were the followers, who learned of the dark side and eventually challenged the adepts.
  • Knight: These were the standards of the flame order, allowed only yellow lightsabers. They were restricted to light side powers.
  • Apprentice: The numbers of the flame order were small, so they took force sensitives from all over that weren't taken by the Jedi, and trained them. Any child of another member of the order became one at ten.
  • Commando: Any soldiers that could best a knight would be trained as an elite
  • Soldier: The standard soldiers of the Flame order. After finding a suit of Sith armor on Korriban, they modified and mass produced their own variant of it.
