The First Battle of Prisgwero was a battle initiated by Rivaner as an attempt to retrieve Hak Rasnune before the Neimoidian could tell the Republic any secrets. After a duel between Rivaner and Chaflan Matcota, the Separatists retreated, and the battle was a victory for the Republic. Soon after, the Neimoidian was tortured by the Republic in order to get more information about the Separatists.[2]
