The First Battle of Ord Zathuun began shortly after the First Battle of Geonosis and lasted for three months total.
The battle[]
It began when Tull Strayfiend and Zareedo landed in Kerrsh, the capital of Ord Zathuun, with a detachment of soldiers from the Erayyxa Civil Defense League. They battled local militias and police officers ubder the impression that the regular Separatist forces would arrive in twetny-four standard hours to relieve them. However, the droid armies were delayed by a space battle in the nearby Gishi system and the clone army arrived first.
Holed up in the Kerrsh Historical Galaxy Museum, the ECDL lost nearly two thirds of their troops before the Separatists arrived to relieve them. The support came too late and the Galactic Republic won the battle.
Aftermath[]
Despite the Republic victory, Strayfiend and Zareedo remained on the planet to form a resistance. They terrorized those citizens who were loyal to the Republic and recruited citizens of the planet to fight the clones. Eventually, the resistence helped the Separatists recapture Ord Zathuun.
