The Finn family was a human bloodline that began prior to 3683 BBY with Republic admiral Keidan Finn.
Many hundreds of years later, the Finn family enjoyed great prominence on Foron, which they often considered their palace and was home to the Finns for a couple of decades, until Elgar Finn, moved to Bastion. Many of the Finn family were involved with both the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire, Elgar for instance reaching the rank of admiral within the Imperial Navy.
By 40 ABY, Jaro, Mary and Thomas Finn were the only confirmed surviving members of the Finn family, while Reno Finn's survival was ambiguous.
Throughout the Fel Empire, the Finn family seemed to enjoy resurgence: much of their reputation had been restored under Jagged Fel's leadership, and numerous members of the Finn family were around.
History[]
The first known appearance of the Finn family name was Keidan Finn in 3683 BBY. Keidan was an officer in the Republic Navy.
Over three-thousand years later, the family was still alive, and by 113 BBY, Armer Finn was born. Armer got married to his wife Miria prior to the birth of his son, Duncan, who was born in 69 BBY. Prior to their marriage, Armer managed to procure a planet in the Corporate Sector, Baduur II, a secret he would not fail to keep until long after his death in 28 BBY, while his wife died in 61 BBY.
Duncan, unlike his father, presented service, entering the Judicial Forces and taking part in the Stark Hyperspace War. Prior to this, he'd meet and marry his wife, Eva, with whom he'd have three children, James and Jarno Finn, born prior to the Stark Hyperspace War, and Reno Finn, born two years later in 38 BBY. Duncan found out about his father's business with the Trade Federation and about Baduur II in 19 BBY but was murdered before he could make his case.
Seemingly taking inspiration from the Trade Federation's logo, Armer was the first to design a crest for the Finn family.
Foron's sprawling ecumenopolis.
James, Jarno and Reno Finn relocated to Foron, an Outer Rim backwater, and used their grandfather's procured fortune to invest in the planet, upgrading it from backwater to ecumenopolis in ten years time. This time was commonly known as the Foronian golden years. At the same time, the Finn brothers made Foron their home and palace.
During the Foronian golden years, James and Jarno designed a new version of the Finn family crest.
In 23 BBY, Thomas Finn was born to James and Anne Finn, while Jamie was born to Reno Finn and his wife.
In 22 BBY, Elgar was born to James and Anne Finn.
Elgar got married in 20 ABY to Mary, and had a son, Jaro Finn.
Between 40 and 45 ABY, Jaro worked together with Jagged Fel to restore the Finn family name. Towards the end of 45 ABY, this had been mostly accomplished and the Finn family were no longer targets of the Moff Council.
By 66 ABY, Jaro had met his wife and had fathered two children, Sarah and Reinard Finn.
Otto Finn was born in 102 ABY to Reinard and his wife.
