Leon Skywalker was a former padawan of the Jedi Sodality, trained by his mother in the First Jedi Temple on Ahch-To.
Following the loss of his memory, in 51 BBY the boy was adopted by the farmer Ward, who would henceforth raise the 12-year-old as his foster uncle. In effect, Leon identified as Leon Ward and lived in his place on Lah'mu.
After his uncle's death in 56 ABY, Leon was a witness to the investigation into the Ahch-To Cataclysm, carried out by the Jedi Knight Temiri Blagg and his padawan learner Jaa Kassa. The emissaries recognized the boy as the son of their master and thus brought him along to the Capital Station for additional examination to be conducted in order to specify their kinship.
