You are out of your depth, boy.
—Darth Tantalus
Keson Qel-Tythas was a Force-sensitive Human male that served as a Jedi Knight in the decades prior to the Extant War. A member of the royal House of Qel-Tythas and the nephew of the famed Jedi Master Julian Qel-Tythas, Keson was highly loyal to his uncle, frequently partnering with him in spite of Keson not being his uncle's Padawan learner. As revealed by Julian to his son, Keson was expected to have been Nero Qel-Tythas' master once Nero had come of age.
Keson was the second-in-command of the Jedi-led operation to Iego, which later came to be known as the Hundred-Day War. During the final conflict, the Battle of the Boneyard, Qel-Tythas slew the Sith Lord Darth Vrotoss in single combat, although was likewise slain by Darth Tantalus. Following his death, Keson was cremated on a pyre during a funeral held on New Alderaan, on the grounds of the Qel-Tythas estate.
