Aster Vyle was a Human male from Alsakan. During the waning years of the Galactic Civil War, he was a logistics expert for the Galactic Empire's Sector Development, a branch of the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order. After the Battle of Endor and the subsequent fall of the Empire, Vyle schemed his way on board Grand Admiral Domerus Randolf's warship, the Domination, to the resort world of Sutton in the Expansion Region. On Sutton, Vyle manipulated his way to Randolf's inner council, paving the way for the establishment of his Imperial remnant, exploiting the Grand Admiral's poor political skills to eventually make himself a warlord.
