Aaron Kel was a Kiffar Jedi who survived Order 66 and lived until the times of the New Jedi order and became a Jedi master. He was found on Kiffu by Jedi Master Mace Windu. He was taken to the temple on Coruscant and trained as a Jedi Guardian. He would make trips to Kiffu to train as a Kiffu Eagle and trained in the art of Andumi, the martial art used by Kiffu Eagles. He was a senior commander in the Clone Wars alongside ARC commander Mandarin. He was captain of the Platinum Revenge and the pilot as well. He was a member of the Clan Kel of Kiffu.He is also the leader of clan Kel. He was a Republic hero during the Yuuzhan Vong War as well as the Swarm War. During his time with the New Republic, he founded Neyo Squadron in homage to his valued clone pilots. This Squadron was made up of A wings and Eta 5s lead by his Eta 2. He was responsible for the death of the Trabdoshan Dark Jedi Arkiss. He was also a member of the Kiffu Eagles as well as their leader. He became Sheyf of Kiffu after Clan Vos reliquished power to clan Kel. During the Confederation-Galactic Alliance War, he annexed Kiffu and Kiffex and later allied with the Jedi Coalition and the Alliance in Exile.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Aaron was born on the planet Kiffu at the time of 32 years BBY. His father, Sorreck Kel, was a wealthy man and head of Clan Kel. He ran Kel Freighting Industries. Aaron first brush with the force happened when he was only 2. He managed to dodge a dropping durasteel girder. He commented later that he had no idea the girder was coming but it was just his instinct. Jedi Master Mace Windu visited the planet as an investigation to a growing crime circuit on Kiffu. He was walking through the streets of the port town Elirec. Mace Windu then ran into a young Kiffar. Aaron smiled and said hello to Windu. Windu replied and said he would like to meet his parents. Windu came to Aaron's home and spoke with his father and mother. He told them of Aaron's force sensitivity and said he would require a blood test. The results showed that his midi chlorian count was incredibly high. Windu was ready to take Aaron to Coruscant. However Sorreck refused saying Aaron was his only heir. Mace Windu stayed on Kiffu even after his lead was a dead end. Sorreck fell into a deep illness and even deeper debt. Collectors started showing up making vicious threats. Knowing Kiffu was no longer safe for his family, he changed his mind and let Mace Windu take Aaron to the Jedi temple. He had but one condition. He wanted the Jedi to arrange housing for his wife. In 3 days Aaron and his mother, Alisia Kel, were on their way to Coruscant. In five days Sorreck died of his illness.
Early Jedi training[]
Aaron was a youngling of the Cat Clan. Many called him gifted in the ways of the force. He was always studying in the archives on Jedi Lore. He was especially interested in the escapades of Revan and Ulic Qel-Droma.He also constructed his first lightsaber at a very young age at the age of eight (26 BBY). He was a member of the Jedi pilot class, a class that taught advanced piloting skills to Jedi with exceptional prowess in this area. Another member of this class was Anakin Skywalker. The class was headed by Sassee Tinn. Shortly before the Battle of Geonosis, He was apprenticed to fellow Kiffar Tanric Serrin. However he wasn't picked to be one of the 200 Jedi to go to Geonosis to rescue Obi Wan Kenobi,Anakin Skywalker,and Padme Amidala.He and Master Serrin were to stay as temple guardians along with Depa Bilaba.
Clone Wars[]
Battle of Muunilist[]
During the Battle of Muunilist, he was deployed as a commander of Neyo Squadron. His squadron was essential in destroying a Separatist attack cruiser. They also decimated many enemy fighters while sustaining very few casualties. He piloted the Crimson Crusader. It was it's first run in actual combat and it was the first Eta Actis to be used in the war. However it was only a prototype. His exceptional skill in this battle was acknowledged by Obi Wan Kenobi. He was complimented by the Jedi Master after the ensuing battle.

Attack on Astrotech Station[]
The Trade Federation was low on resources. They decided to recruit Astrotech Corporation to their cause. However, Astrotech was a firm supporter of the Republic and refused. After their rejection, the Trade Federation sent a small fleet of warships to attack the ship manufacturing station in orbit over Raxus Prime. The Republic sent a fleet of their own to engage the Trade Federation Cruisers. Aaron Kel lead this mission due to his reputation at the battle of Muunilist. He and Neyo Squadron quickly liberated the station. The CEOs were so grateful they built him a Custom Sigma 88 Personal Starcruiser. He refused at first but they wouldn't take no for an answer. The station later modified his Jedi Interceptor.
Mission to Ziost[]
Republic intelligence informed the Jedi Order that some Sith fanatics were attempting to take the Holocron of Infinite Knowledge from a Sith temple on Ziost. Aaron and Master Serrin went to the Sith planet of Ziost. They then landed on the wasteland of a planet. However they were attacked and captured by a swarm of foes wielding electrostaffs and vibroblades. They were taken into the temple where a man stood and berate the two Jedi. During his rant, the Jedi used the force and grabbed the lightsabers and cut the bonds that held them. They then fought and slew the man and his body guards. The rest of the people fled. They then journeyed deep into the temple and found the chamber of the holocron. Oddly, the force it contained was not dark but gray. They then left the planet and transported the holocron to Coruscant.
Battle of Jabiim[]
Aaron then deployed to Jabiim to assist in the war effort. He was appalled at the brutality of the Jaabiimi soldiers. He lead his garrison to assault a bunker deep in the Jabiim Plains. They succeeded but with the cost of heavy casualties. He fought at the front lines on the final battle of Jabiim. He witnessed the brutality towards the Jabiimi loyalists by Anakin Skywalker. After the troops left the planet. He looked down solemnly at the enraged loyalists. He asked Skywalker why he was so cruel. Anakin only said, it was necessary. When he returned to Coruscant he met Allana Feylon, Don Metros, and Sora Thunne. Allana and Don were two pilots at the Coruscant Academy for young pilots while Sora was an engineer intern working at the academy.
Mission to Tatooine[]
Republic intelligence told the Jedi that a group of raiders working for the Separatists were attacking Republic starships. When Aaron and Master Serrin landed they ran into Jabba the Hutt and a young boy in Mandalorian armor. Jabba said this was his private landing pad. Aaron said this was a public landing station. Jabba said they'll meet again. They went into town and discovered that the raiders worked in an Mining Camp in the Dune Sea. Aaron and Master Serrin stayed a night in their ship and then left for the dune sea. They found the camp and detained the raiders. They then called for a republic ship in the area to pick them up. After the raiders were detained, they left for the landing pad in Mos Espa. However, they ran into Jabba again. This time he brought a whole band of pirates. Jabba ordered them to attack. In the ensuing fight, They managed to lift off but at the cost of Aaron's Lightsaber. After that he traveled to the crystal caves of Ilum to build his Jar'Kai dueling sabers.
Trip to Ilum[]
After the loss of his lightsabers, he went to Ilum to build his new lightsabers. However, after the attack on Ilum, the Jedi were against him going. They eventually they acquiesced but the council gave him a lightsaber for defense until his other lightsaber were built. He studied much about Jar'Kai so decided to build two Jar'Kai dueling sabers. When he arrived on Illum, he navigated through the treacherous canyons. He made it to the Ilum temple, but a dark shroud emanated from the temple. Suddenly, dark apparitions appeared and attacked him with lightsabers. He managed to fend them off and escape into the caverns of the temple. He made it to the chamber and spread out his materials he had collected. They were more than usual since he was building two lightsabers. He sat down on the floor and entered a meditative state. He was in a dark alley. A hooded figure stood in his way. His mind said fight but his body bolted with all his speed and the Force. The hooded figure matched his speed and slowly gained on him. Aaron started panting. They must have traversed near a mile. He then tripped over a rusty oil pipe. He tried to get up, but the shadow was on him in an instant. He then blasted Aaron with force lightning. Aaron woke up in a cold sweat. In his hands he held his two Jar'Kai dueling sabers.
Second Battle of Coruscant[]
Along with Masters Windu and Yoda,he was part of the ground defense on Coruscant. He destroyed many droids with the ARC captain Madarin as the second in command of his garrison. He also sabotaged a droid landing craft with a detonator charge. He then took to the skies in the Platinum Revenge and then launched in the Crimson Crusader. He lead Neyo Squadron once again in the battle. They broke through Separatist defense around the Invisible Hand and made it possible for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker to access the ship.

Battle of Kashyyyk[]
Aaron was a commander during the battle and destroyed a Lucrehulk-class core ship modified to act as a temporary Separatist bunker on the planet. He lead a squad of BARC troopers along the beach to the base where the encountered a sizable defense force. They were than aided attack support by an Acclamator Assault ship loaded with troopers, AT-TEs, LAAT/is, and some fighter tanks. A squadron of ARC 170s and V-Wings confront a force of Vuture droids and Tri- Fighters. Aaron slipped away from the battle and infiltrated the hangar of the base. He navigated through the narrow corridors, using the force as his guide. He eventually managed to reach the control room. He mind tricked the lead control room technician for him to tell the control personnel to go to the meeting room. He stole their battle holocron and the placed a timed Orbital Strike beacon at the control dashboard. He exited the base and five seconds later, the base erupted in explosions also destroying many of the droids coming from the base with it. He then fought his way back to the clones and then told master Serrin mission accomplished. He returned to Coruscant and was greeted by his friends, Allana, Don, and Sora, He then told them of the previous battle. However, nothing could prepare them for the carnage they were about to face.
Order 66: Operation Knightfall[]
Unbeknown to Aaron and his friends Anakin Skywalker and the 501st Legion were marching up the steps of the temple. Aaron sensed the death of master Jurrock through the force. From his console he viewed the gates and saw Anakin marching his troopers up the into the temple. He asked the temple librarian, Jocasta Nu, for him to access the Holocron of Infinite Knowledge. Aaron told his friends what he saw and said he would download all the information from the archives also deleting all info on the group. He completed his work as soon as Anakin arrived in the library. Aaron could sense the dark cloud hanging over the Jedi. He heard Anakin asking for access to the archives. Jocasta sensed his dark intentions. Aaron heard her lightsaber snap hiss but Anakin's lightsaber skewered the Jedi through the gut. Immediately Aaron ignited his lightsaber and grasped two clones in the air while blocking blaster fire. He threw the two unlucky troopers into the rest of the troopers. He started hacking at troopers with his lightsaber so he could get to his room. Sora, Allana, and Don pulled out their blasters firing at toppers behind Aaron's lightsabers for protection. They managed to fight their way out to the fury of Skywalker. They ran through the temple to the dormitory level. Luckily, the clones had not made it up there yet. He told his friends that they were all fugitives. He packed his travel bag with the holocron, his blaster, his serrated vibroblade, holopad, a long black overcoat, and some crystals. He was then going to tell them his plan for their retreat when a dark figure appeared in the doorway. It was Anakin Skywalker, Anakin ignited his lightsaber and started Force choking Aaron. Aaron was helpless in the air. Sora fired a few rounds at the Sith Lord but Anakin simply blocked it. Aaron then remembered a technique Master Yoda taught him. It was a way to scatter the Force and neutralize a certain power. He concentrated on the Force gripping his neck he then destroyed the Force strangling him. He was released and then Forced pushed Anakin off the nearby balcony. He then went across to the turbolifts to the ship hangar. He killed many clones on his way. He then discovered the body of Serra Keto, a good friend of his during his time as a youngling. He saw that a pillar was dropped on her but moved. He remembered she said that if she died, she didn't want her lightsabers in the hands of a looter. He then took her lightsabers and left for the nearby turbolifts. They rode the turbolifts down to the ship hangar. They then boarded the ship the Platinum Revenge. They then launched and left the hangar. They received heavy fire from the anti aircraft turrets mounted on many military buildings. They managed to leave Coruscant orbit and entered hyperspace.

The Dark Times[]
Kashyyyk[]
After entering hyperspace, the group headed to Kashyyyk. However, the Republic launched an entire squad of ARC 170s to intercept the ship. Aaron had forgot the Platinum Revenge was registered in the Temple Mainframe as a Jedi vessel. He sent Sora to man the quad laser turrets while he ran to his Jedi Interceptor. He went to the interceptor and exited the ship. He started shooting down ARCs. Sora at the Platinum's turrets made short work of the rest of the fighters. They zipped by the cruiser but before they entered the atmosphere, an incoming escape pod launched a comm call. The call read, Yoda this is. Permission to board, I ask. Aaron had just docked in the hanger of the platinum. He had just received the comm call and gave Yoda permission to dock. He immediately left the hanger. A few minutes later the diminutive Jedi Grand Master appeared in the doorway to the cockpit. He greeted the young Padawan as well as his fiends. The group bowed in respect to the master. Aaron asked about Master Serrin. Yoda reluctantly told him the Juggernaut tank he was in was attacked by Clone Heavy troopers with a volley of rockets and the tank exploded. He handed Aaron Master Serrin's lightsaber. Aaron took it and sighed. Yoda then ignited his lightsaber and swung at Kel. The Jedi Master sliced off the padawan's braid at the back of his head. Yoda was knighting Aaron. He told him the trials he faced at the temple were more than enough for him to pass the Jedi Trials. Yoda then left to his escape pod. He then left the Platinum Revenge on his way to Bail Organa's Tantive IV.
Dantooine[]
After the rendevouz with Yoda and Aaron's informal knighting,the crew of the Platinum Revenge headed to Dantooine the home of the abandoned Jedi Enclave. When they landed on Khoonda, He told Don and Allana to shop for supplies while Sora stayed with the Ship. Allana and Don used the airspeeder inside the ship's garage.Aaron commandeered the his personal DX-2000 Sport Swoop and headed to the Jedi enclave. He searched through the ruined sublevels of the enclave. He then came to a dead end. However he saw a glowing crack in the wall. Then all of the etchings in the wall started to glow. And then the wall gave way and revealed a small room. In the center was a single podium and mounted on it was a dodecahedral shaped holocron, the holocron of the Jedi Exile. The item he had been searching for. He immediately left the ruins of the Enclave. On his swoop he reached Allana and told her that they are leaving. He made it into town and headed to the docks where the Platinum Revenge was docked. He parked the swoop in the Garage of the ship and was soon followed by the airspeeder with Allana and Don and the supplies they purchased in town. They took off and stayed in orbit over Dantooine for three days while Aaron studied the holocron of the Jedi Exile. After all the holocron's teaching were divulged, Aaron dismantled the holocron and stored the components in the hidden safe in his quarters.They then left the system behind for good.

Tatooine[]
After a year or so of wandering, Aaron set the Platinum Revenge on a course to the world of Tatooine. Aaron headed there to rendezvous with Obi Wan Kenobi. He also wanted to recover his lightsaber from Jabba the Hutt. When they arrived on Tatooine, he headed to the Mos Eisley Cantina. When he contacted Obi-Wan a few days earlier, the Jedi Master told him to refer to the Lars homestead. He asked around and found out that the Lars family were moisture farmers. He the took his swoop and headed to the farm. On the way he was attacked by some swoop thugs. He tried to evade the thugs, but one managed to land a blaster shot to his arm. He then used the cannon on his swoop and blew up the lead swoop. After that the thugs retreated. He managed to drive the swoop until he made it to the moisture farm. The Larses originally thought he was a swoop raider. When he told them his predicament, they took him in and treated his wound. Aaron then asked him where he could find Obi Wan Kenobi. Owen Lars told him he was camped out in the dune sea. Aaron thanked the family and left. He did a bio-scan of the area and found a single blip. He headed towards that blip and found Obi Wan. He was in a hut he had built of adobe. The two jedi greeted each other. The young jedi asked Obi Wan how was doing. He told him how he had to deal with Tuskens and having to make sure he leaves no technology out of his sight or it will be Jawa loot. Obi Wan asked why he was here. Aaron said he was here to recover his stolen lightsaber. Obi Wan aked why he wanted it. Aaron replied it held his Ubami Ice Shard he had recovered from Ziost. Ubami Ice was actually a crystal that was found in underground caves in Ziost. They were extremely powerful. Obi Wan nodded and said Aaron should leave. Aaron then moved across the Dune Sea on his swoop to the palace of Jabba the Hutt.
At the gates of the stronghold, Aaron managed to mind trick the guards to let him in. Unwittingly they led him through the corridors of the palace. Aaron reached the throneroom and was greeted by a roar of astonished screaches. The bloated hutt lay on a raised pedestal with a chained Twi'lek girl laying on the pedestal. The Hutt addressed him in Huttese asking what he was doing here. Aaron told him he was the jedi padawan he attacked a few years back. The Hutt laughed and insulted the kiffar. Aaron requested his lightsaber back. The Hutt laughed once more and ordered the guards and bounty hunters to attack. Aaron ignited his lightsabers as he moved towards the hut, deflecting blaster bolts and force pushing enemies out of the way. He reached the Hutt. The youn Twi'lek slave yelped in fear. The cowardly Hutt pulled the saber out of a vault under his pedestal. He handed it to the young Jedi and told him to leave. Aaron exited the room and left the palace. Unbeknownst to the young man, he was being pursued by the bounty hunter Boba Fett. They met somewhere in the Dune Sea. They had a brief duel with their swoop bike blaster cannons. Aaron managed to evade Boba Fett's attack and head to Mos Eisley. He left the spaceport and entered hyperspace.
Nar Shada[]
After much wandering, they decided at the year 12 BBY to settle down on the smuugler's moon, Nar Shada. They lived on the ship in one of the most cowdest slums on the world, an area where many war refugees, fugitives, and criminals, call home. The group stayed there for many months however, their stay was anything but pleasant. Their fist problem arose when a Twi-Lek Bounty hunter managed to recognize the group and tried to capture Aaron and kill the others. His attempts were amateur at best though and Allana shot him twice in the chest. The next and most prominent incident occurred when Aaron was buying starship fuel. He was then attacked by a hoded figure he recognized from the dream he had many years ago. So he ran. He kept accelerating until his surroundings wera a blur but the figure kept coming. Then he tripped over a rusty pipe at the attackers mercy. The figure then blasted Kel with force lightning laughing the whole while. The attacker then reveals himself to be a Trandoshan by the name of Arkiss. Aaron then with a surge of energy deflected the dark jedi's onslaught blasting him several yards away from him. He then ran back to the Platinum Revenge and shut down his force presence and that of his friends. Several days later, Don became disillusioned for their cause and was tiredof running, he called the others cowards for not facing their fate. He then confessed he is going to join the Imperial Academy to become a Naval officer. He also confessed he bought a juner X-wing and then wished them luck and left.
Personality and Traits[]
During his time at the Temple, Aaron Kel was known as a very copassionate and generous. He lived up to the Jedi ideals of non possesionism, refusing the Platinum Revenge at first. He was also very helpful. He helped many sentients on Coruscant during his downtime. He also had excellent control over his emotions. He never had outbursts of anger. As a jedi master to his students he was a kind but tough teacher. He was a father figure to his young Padawans, giving them advice and life lessons to make them better people. He was a natural born leader and very intelligent. He was very calculating and presice. He honored the Jedi trait of watching and feeling the right moment for action. The Clans of Kiffu thought this is why the Kel were assurped in the first place, but this trait proved to turn the tide of battle many times.
Powers and abilities[]
Aaron had a powerful mastery of the Force. He could turn himself invisible and manipulate the force to mask his presence and the presence of others. He was also proficient with telekinesis and was able to use the Force to enhance his physical capabilities, such as running swiftly and jumping long distances.
Aaron was also an accomplished swordsman. He employed a Jar'Kai variant of Ataru, which made him very hard to touch. He also utilized Djem So and was deadly with it. He was one of the very few members of the order to utilize Jar'Kai. In the New Jedi Order, almost no one knew how to use Jar'Kai so Aaron's knowledge of the style proved useful.
Aaron was an accomplished hand to hand fighter trained in Echani by an Echani Jedi in the order. His skills were an asset to the New Order. He was also an extremely skilled pilot. The Yuuzhan Vong called him Anka'Lorda or the Wasp because of his quick movements and deadly accuracy.

Aaron's Original Lightsaber
Aaron Kel owned a lot of weaopons being trained as a Jedi Guardian despite his Mastery of the force. He owned a total of six lightsabers; three of them he built. Two were Serre Keto's and one was Master Serrin's. He owned a military grade blaster pistol that was holstered to his utility belt that was modified with an enhaced scope and a power upgrade. He had a cortosis vibroblade he hid in his boot. He also has a sport swoop modified with an upgraded engine and a blaster cannon. He owned the Platinum Revenge and an Eta-2 Actis Interceptor. He owned some poison darts that he would launch with the force. They were topped with synox venom. He also owned traditional Kiffu battle gauntlets equipped with a vibroblade and a blaster. These quantlets he hid under the sleeves of his robe but rarely used them.

Behind the Scenes[]
If you recognize some items, I use many movie props to represent Aaron Kel's world. I used the image of A'Sharad Hett, the human jedi knight who was adopted by Tuskens, for Aaron Kel's likeness. I used the lightsaber of a background Jedi character, Bultar Swan, for Aaron Kel's lightsaber. Aaron's Eta-2 is actually Obi-Wan's.
