The Felinian Militia was the defense force of the planet Felinia. It was comprised of all-volunteer soldiers, mostly native Felinians, who were willing to sacrifice their lives for their homeworld. The Militia possessed many starfighters and tanks, but lacked large capital ships. During the Clone Wars, the Felinian Militia stayed loyal to the Galactic Republic and mobilized to defend Felinia from the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars, acquiring millions of additional recruits. The Militia fought for about two years against the Separatists and suffered heavy casualties, but they managed to win the battle once the Republic brought reinforcements. Sometime after the formation of the Galactic Empire, the Felinian Militia was dissolved and replaced by the Imperial Military.
