Evan Deathrider was a Jedi Knight who fought in the Clone Wars, The Galactic Civil War, The Yuuzhan Vong War, and the Second Galactic Civil War.
History[]
Early Childhood (32 BBY - 22 ABY)[]
Evan was born on Naboo during the Trade Federation’s Invasion of Naboo. Sometime after; Evan was discovered by the Jedi and began training.
Clone Wars (22 BBY- 19 ABY)[]
When Evan was 10 years old, the Clone Wars began. Even though he was a Padawan, he was granted the rank of Jedi Commander. He worked with the 501st and Ahsoka Tano through most of the war. He encountered Count Dooku and General Grievous on numerous occasions; the only sacrifices he made were both his arms. By the War’s end, He was fighting at the Battle of Felucia, when Order 66 was initiated. He was attacked by his troops and fled to Coruscant. He then encounters Anakin; who has just turned to the Dark side, Evan then fights Anakin upon finding out that Anakin had turned to the Dark side. Evan fights bravely, but loses both the duel and his right leg. He is later found by Obi-Wan and he takes Evan to Polis Massa for a cybernetic replacement.
The Dark Times (19 BBY- 0 BBY)[]
After Padmé’s Funeral, Evan was then given to the care of the Queen, one year later; the Empire found out that the Queen was secretly hiding fugitive Jedi, so the 501st was dispatched to Theed to execute the Queen and the Jedi. Another year later, after the Battle of Naboo; Evan made some black, unorthodox Jedi robes and left Naboo to face the Empire head on. During his travels he encountered Starkiller on several occasions, some time before the Battle of Yavin 4; Evan joins the Rebel Alliance and decides to abandon his life as a Jedi, cut off his connection to the Force, and start his new life out as a soldier in the Alliance.
The Battle of Yavin 4[]
During the Battle of the Death Star, Evan was an X-wing pilot, while he was trying to destroy some of the turbolasers; he then sensed Luke’s strength in the Force just moments before Luke destroyed the Death Star.
Return to the life of the Jedi (0 ABY - 4 ABY)[]
Evan met with Luke after the attack on the Death Star and told Luke about his old life as a Jedi. Before the Alliance moved to Hoth; Evan then decided to reconnect himself to the Force, he put on new robes and salvaged his old lightsaber. He fought with the alliance up to the Battle of all Battles: The Battle of Endor.
The Battle of Endor[]
While Luke, Leia, Han Solo, And Chewie led a strike team to the Forest moon, Evan fought in space with the Alliance fleet; lead by Admiral Ackbar. He flew in a Jedi Interceptor. The Battle was over with the Destruction of the second Death Star.
Service with the New Republic (4 ABY – 11 ABY)[]
Evan fights with the New Republic for seven years after the Deaths’ of Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine until Evan leads a group of Jedi to the planet Korriban where they encounter Darth Nago; all but Evan are killed as Nago now takes Evan on as his new Sith Apprentice.
Sith Apprentice (11 ABY – 12 ABY)[]
Darth Nago then taught all of the Dark side he knew, after finding a Sith army frozen in Carbonate, and they fight the New Republic, but had very few victories. After a while; Evan was meditating when he was contacted by Darth Nihilus: an Ancient Dark Lord of the Sith, to tell him that Nago wasn’t the Dark Lord, that he was only an imposter, Evan than fights Darth Nago for the Claim of Dark Lord. Evan emerges victorious, but half his face was covered with third degree lightsaber burns, so he now has to cover half his face.
Dark Lord of the Sith (12 ABY – 19 ABY)[]
After Evan Defeats Darth Nago; he becomes the new Dark Lord of the Sith as he dubs himself: Darth Kavan. He soon destroys and replaces the Sith army with a Clone army, and leads a massive crusade across the galaxy; conquering systems of planets and establishing massive bases and killing all enemies in his way, after destroying the Sith army, Darth Kavan then names his army the Black Empire. He goes out for an apprentice a year after claiming the Dark title; he goes to the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4 for an apprentice, he seduces the Jedi apprentice to the Dark Side and names him Darth Oblivion, and leads his campaigns against the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant for the next seven years.
Redemption[]
Seven years into Kavan’s reign; he loses contact with his troops on Mustafar, so he decides to go to investigate himself. He encounters Luke Skywalker: The Grand Master of the Jedi Order. And fight in what is known as the Second Duel on Mustafar. Kavan fights him for minutes on end. Near the end of the duel; Luke was on the verge of death, when he applies Dun Möch to make Kavan renounce the Dark Side and return to the light and succeeds ending the duel with Kavan saving Luke from falling to his death. In turn Evan abandons his dark title and returns to the New Jedi Order.
Final campaigns of the Black Empire (19 ABY – 25 ABY)[]
When Darth Oblivion heard of his master’s redemption on Mustafar; He then takes his master’s place as leader of the Black Empire and leads his own campaigns against the New Republic, leading up to the Duel on Yavin 4 leading to Darth Oblivion’s death and the collapse of the Black Empire.
Yuuzhan Vong War (25 ABY – 29 ABY)[]
Three months later, the Yuuzhan Vong War begins with the First Battle of Helska. Three years after the war began, and one year after the Fall of Coruscant; the New Republic is reorganized into the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. One year later, the Galactic Alliance with 6 other allied factions end the war with Second Battle of Coruscant, Luke Skywalker duels the leader of the Yuuzhan Vong Empire: Supreme Overlord Shimrra Jamaane. Luke beheads the Overlord and the Galaxy is now in peace, and the remaining Yuuzhan Vong go into exile.
The Swarm War[]
Evan was heavily wounded in the Yuuzhan Vong War and did not fight in the Swarm War due to his physical condition.
Second Galactic Civil War[]
Evan soon recovered from his war wounds, made new robes and lightsaber and spent his last months in battle. In the Battle of Kashyyyk; Evan goes to fight Jacen Solo or Darth Ceadus in battle.
Death[]
Evan fights Ceadus for a few minutes but Darth Ceadus was too powerful for Evan. Evan is killed be Ceadus using Sai cha; beheading the elderly 72 year old Jedi and Evan was mourned after the battle by Luke Skywalker, his wife: Sara Deathrider, and by Evan’s son: Jacob Deathrider.
