Europa Kapanen was a Human agent for the Secret Galactic Intelligence Service and later became the organization's Chief of Staff. Europa was a very kind and sweet person, someone one wouldn't expect to carry a "license to kill". But her skills and determination proved useful enough to keep her at MI5.
In her personal time, she enjoyed the sport of limmie.
Biography[]
MI5 Agent[]
Born and raised on Naboo, Europa joined the Royal Naboo Security Forces at a young age, but soon found a better opportunity with MI5. A bit young and inexperienced, M felt it better to continue training her and place her on the "reserve" list until needed. And, in 42 BBY, she got her first mission as she was placed on the team that was assigned to hunt down XANA.
The hunt for XANA[]
She traveled with the team to Kuat, where nothing much happened. They found themselves trapped in XANA's upstepper, but they broke out and followed a signal that lead them to XANA's upstepper on Eriadu. There, they met resistance. Fighting their way through droids, they ended up razing the building to the ground. Following yet another lead, the team found XANA's fortress on Nar Shaddaa. Storming the facility, Europa helped in disabling XANA's army of droids.
The Muunraker mission[]
Four years later Europa was teamed up with rookie agent Jace Bont to investigate Jordo Drax's involvement in a shipment of illegal weapons. They traveled to Drax's estate on Dantooine and, after a brief meeting with Drax, they were escorted to the guest rooms for the night.

That night, Bont went snooping around his offices. When Drax's servants attempted to kill the MI5 operatives, they tried to make their escape, only to find that their ship, Sky Skimmer, had been commandeered by Drax's men. Bont and Europa were then taken captive and tortured.
While they were sitting in a holding cell in Jordo Drax's underground compound on Kalee, Valeria Kennt, a friend of Shasta Moonreaper's, arrived to rescue them and take them back to her farmhouse on Dantooine. After a good long rest, they were picked up by their fellow agents on the Durasteel Rancor.
They went back to Kalee and infiltrated the base in search of Drax. From Holly Goodlekku, they found out Drax was heading for his space station, so they commandeered a ship and followed him. While aboard the space station, they learned of Drax's plans to wipe out the InterGalactic Banking Clan, so they turned his own Muunraker ion cannon against him, crippling his station.
Shasta and Europa eventually caught up with Drax as he was about to climb into an escape pod. Shasta managed to open the airlock before Drax was in the pod, so Drax was sucked out into the vacuum of space. They then made their way to the docking bay to make their escape before the station exploded.
Protecting limmie and it's fans[]
The following year, Europa was involved in the investigation of Agnew's death. After some interrogations that were going nowhere, the agents finally got the lead they were looking for, the former limmie player Bozak. They discovered he was murdering beings involved in the movement of the Alderaan Daylights team from Alsakan to Alderaan. While Europa helped get the Daylights' team owners to safety, Jace Bont chased down Bozak and killed him. The agents later regrouped at the Q'u Branch workshop on Alderaan.
Having traced the incoming calls from Bozak's comlink, they discovered the disgruntled limmie fan, Gideon Roon, had planted explosives throughout Aldera Stadium and planned to blow it up during the championship game. Being the anti-terrorist group that they were, the MI5 agents managed to eliminate Roon and disarm the bombs to save over 100,000 innocent beings in the stadium.
Recapturing Dr. Noah[]

In 34 BBY, Europa was part of the team tasked with recapturing the escaped convict Noah and his friends. She and QUAD were sent to investigate Noah's lab on Jakku. There, they found themselves mixed up in a confrontation between two small settlements: Orca and Chevron.
Befriending the people of Orca, Europa and QUAD agreed to help them stop a man named Kristatos who was leading the fight against them. The battle raged in Chevron and both sides suffered casualties. Noah's lab was the main structure in Chevron and had been gutted, so it was totally useless in MI5's investigation.
Later on during the mission, Europa was able to easily capture Noah's accomplice, the arms dealer Klay, on Khubeaie. Klay surrendered willingly and didn't even put up a fight.
The final battle with SMERSH[]
In 32 BBY, Europa spent her vacation time visiting friends and family on Naboo where she was brutally attacked in Theed. When things got worse, Royal Naboo Security Forces Security Officer Ajax Djoos showed up to rescue her. She had no idea why she was attacked and she realized her MI5 comlink wasn't working. So she immediately left Naboo to head for MI5 Headquarters on Coruscant. Upon leaving Naboo's atmosphere, she saw Trade Federation ships forming a blockade, which turned out to be the beginning of the Invasion of Naboo.
When she arrived at HQ on Coruscant, she found her fellow MI5 agents outside. Apparently SMERSH had taken over MI5 Headquarters. They were able to break in, rescue the hostages and take back control of their building.
After the interrogation of Jasper Fondorball, Europa joined the team in traveling to the ice planet Rinnk where they found SMERSH's hideout. Knowing they would need their own army to fight SMERSH's army, Europa contacted her friends on Jakku. Melina Shatterstar, her sisters Danica and Isabella, along with 200 of their fellow fighters from Jakku, soon arrived on Rinnk and they stormed the hideout together.
Toward the end of the battle, Europa witnessed the death of her MI5 teammate Pandolfo Taproot.
Chief of Staff[]

Having proved herself as a worthy agent, Europa began moving up in the ranks at MI5. She eventually became M's Chief of Staff during the time of the Clone Wars.
After seeing some of the agents butting heads before the mission to Nadiem, Europa requested Shasta Moonreaper accompany them as a chaperon.

Europa Kapanen was created by the Star Wars... 007 Style series creator Dubya Scott. Her name comes from Jupiter's moon Europa, and Sami Kapanen (a pro hockey player from the National Hockey League). (See also: User:Dubya Scott/Hockey)
