Eriaduan High Command was the group charged with overseeing the operation of the military forces of the Eriaduan Empire. The commanders of the various Combat Commands fell under the umbrella of this organization. On paper, control of the military rested with the High Command, but in reality the Judges were the true commanders of the Eriaduan military. When in command positions, officers of the High Command are always styled as High Commander.
The most senior officials of the High Command are the Commandant and the Executor of War. Command of the military is divided between the two, with the Commandant as the Supreme Commander of all Eriaduan Forces and the Executor of War serving as the military's chief administrator, chief military liaison to the Emperor, and acting as a power check to ensure that control of the military doesn't lay with one man.
As the governing body of the military the Emperor is the honorary head of this organization holding the title and position of Grand Commander, honorary head of all operational forces of the military. When in the field the Emperor has the power to exercise his command authority as Grand Commander and give or override any orders he deems fit.
