The Epic of the Star Wars, otherwise known as the ESW, is a series of written works that focus on the adventures of Scott Borek and the key figures in the galaxy during his lifetime. It was conceived and developed by SWFanon member I'm the Chosen One. It has been developed and written under a solo banner, unlike those of the critically acclaimed projects and series, Project Cruentus and the Alternative Star Wars Saga. Work has begun on several projects, and several drafts have been completed.

History[]

Inception[]

I'm the Chosen One's fan-fiction interest in Star Wars was first generated after the release of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, in winter of 2002. The works developed during the years of 2002-04 revolved around the Grand Army of the Republic and the enlistment of a non-clone in the ranks. It also focused on the Jedi relationship with the clones and Sith activities. This thread of works was dropped with the release of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

The Epic of the Star Wars was in its first and most archaic form in 2005. The series, then known as the Golden Age of the Republic, focus was entirely different from its later incarnations in that it focused on a completely different era of Star Wars history. The storyline revolved around an alternate timeline of Star Wars history circa 1,000 BBY. It was noted for trying to introduce ancestral characters of canon characters. It introduced an ancestor of the Skywalker, Calrissian and Organa bloodlines as well as revealing the early years of Yoda's Jedi tenure.

This incarnation of the ESW was important for its creation of several current ESW characters including Brandon Rockwater, Alec Prime and most importantly Scott Borek.

Taking shape[]

The next version of the saga, simply known as "Star Wars duology", started to more closely resemble the current rendition. The saga remained in the same time period. It removed the ancestral characters of the Sywalker and Organa bloodline and inserted descendants of the Qel-Droma family. Despite it taking place a thousand years prior to the canon saga, it held a similar, more condensed, storyline to that of the Original Trilogy.

Even more characters that predated the official ESW, but made their way into the saga were created. Darth Nemis and R3-S3 were created during this period.
