The Elrissians were a race of Near-Humans from the Mid Rim planet Elriss. They bore a strong resemblance to the Christophisians of Christophsis.

The Elrissians were brown-skinned humanoids with blue eyes and facial markings.
Society and culture[]
Elrissians could work for any affiliation and occupation, and could speak their own native language. They could also speak Basic. They were one of the 5 million sentient species (alien races) known to the Empire in the galaxy. The planetary demonym for their homeworld is the same as their species name.
History[]
The Elrissians evolved on Elriss, a temperate planet located in the Elriss system within the Onatos sector in the Mid Rim. Their homeworld was explored sometime between 20,000 BBY and 15,000 BBY, during the Great Manifest Period and settlement of the Trailing Sectors. It fell into the area of space known as The Slice. They shared their home sector with the Lahsbee/Huhk. It became a part of Republic Space during the Clone Wars.
During the height of the New Order, their homeworld was subjugated by the Empire. In 25 ABY, their homeworld's population was at least 10 million. Their homeworld became a part of the Darth Krayt's Sith Empire in 137 ABY.
