'Elmakan was a warlord in the Cruentusian War who lorded over the world of Alasad. A former slave trader for the Rataka, he usurped and took control of Alasad following the chaos and established himself as leader. Although he restored order, he made Alasad into a dictatorship with a cult of personality revolving around him, and spent lots of its wealth on arms, leaving many people there starving. He got his hands on various technologies from the Necasian Military, leading some to suspect that he was sponsored or a puppet of it, but there was no concrete evidence for this, and some thought he had simply stole it. His reign came to an abrupt end when he was killed by the Death's Tongue Militia during the Skirmish on Alasad.
