Elecrians were a highly-evolved species native to the planet of Elecris, that moved to a new world of Elecria after the ecological catastrophe. Such an event changed significantly their lifestyle and culture.
The Elecrians were mainly known in the Senb'An'Tiin star system, but they were the inhabitants of other worlds through all the Galaxy.
History[]
Much of what happened on Elecris before 5000 BBY remains unknown, for the archives with any valuable information concerning this matter were lost or destroyed. The legends say, that the Elecrians was a large agricultural nation, that would garner the crop and ranch cattle. Unfortunately the great cataclysm brought an end to this idealistic society, the remaining Elecrians had to move to another planet - a dull and barren colony of Elecria.
They made this planet their new home, and started the mining process around the planet. This was the beginning of the Elecrian Fortune, that helped some of the citizens rise to power and proclaim themselves as the Kings of Elecria.
Through centuries the Elecrians would evolve into a completely new civilization, with a new religion: it was believed that the Elecrian state was given a gift from gods - life and fortune for the death of Elecris. That was an indispensable sacrifice.
They also believed that one day they would earn a greater, divine, gift for the good deeds of the citizens.
The new king of Elecria, Arzar Esmut, around 4000 BBY proclaimed that it was not a legend, and it was not a dream, but a goal, that he was planning to achieve in the next years. He made a secret agreement with the Sith Empire, granting permission for constructing a military base for the Sith. Instead his new allies offered their help in expanding the territories of the Elecrian Kingdom.
First King Arzar sent several squads to Vur'Lua to kill all members of the local colony from Uthel, then several Elecrian agents and Sith forces would invade the planets of Uthel and Shiib.
He wanted these worlds to be destroyed in order to show his people, that the gods were asking for new sacrifice, and that other nations had to suffer the same fate as Elecris once did.
His plans had never been fulfilled, because the locals created their own Rebellion movement, that stopped the Elecrian King and removed the Sith from the Sector.
After the war a Senb'An'Tiin Confederacy was formed, and the Elecrians became one of its members. They promised to rebuild the colony on Vur'Lua, that later would become one of the largest cities in the system.
Several Arzar's supporters survived and formed their own organization - the Elecrian revolutionaries, that would hide for centuries until they had to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems. They managed to overthrow the Elecrian Administration and officially declared their loyalty to count Dooku. They escaped their native world during the Battle for Elecria in 21 BBY and were destroyed later in 19 BBY.
Elecrians in the Galaxy[]
After the Jedi Civil War many of the Elecrians left their home world to find a better place to live, like Anarmar, Corellia, Coruscant and many others. It was a chance for them to prove, that their rulers were wrong about the prophecy, and there was something good in their traditions.
Thus the Elecrians formed several model and tourist agencies around the Galaxy, they were involved in Banking activities as well as in the Intergalactic trading. Some of the Elecrians proved themselves as nice architects and were the ones who constructed the first cities on Anarmar.
They created a hotel and casino net, that were quite popular in the Core World sector up to 32 BBY.
