An eclipse covers the light and in the darkness, war raises. The Eclipse War begins.
—An unknown individual
The Eclipse War Against the Remnants,[1] more commonly referred as Eclipse Civil War,[1] was a galactic conflict that took place around the galaxy after the assassinations of Han Solo, Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, two unidentified Grand Admirals, and one imperial warlord, the Alliance and Imperial remnants engaged in open conflict against the Eclipse Empire in response to Skywalker's Jedi Order retaliating for its leader's assassination.[1]
After the initiation attacks made by Jedi, Jenkins Fall issued a purge order to neutralize all Force-sensitives—majority of them being part of Skywalker's New Jedi Order.[1] Following this order, many of the new Jedi began to protect themselves against personnel of the Eclipse Special Forces.[1]

Conflicts in the Rim[]
Aside from major battles and conflicts influenced by the Eclipse War, there were conflicts in the Rim regions between the Eclipse Military and various security forces not loyal to the Eclipse Empire, and remnant factions of the Alliance and Old Empire.[1]
This sub-conflict went on for three years until it was won by the Eclipse Forces in the Battle of Sarapin.[1]
Skirmishes of the Outer Rim[]
Within the Outer Rim, skirmishes between Eclipse Military personnel and pirates, bounty hunters, criminals, Alliance and Old Empire remnant factions took place regularly throughout the War.[1] Mainly due to the Outer Rim's hate and dislike for the New Empire on its operations throughout the Outer Rim Territories and slave labor of many species.[1]
