The Drule Supremacy was a relatively small interstellar government in Wild Space that bordered the Unknown Regions. It was known to have been established sometime around 10,000 BBY.
The Drule Supremacy included a number of planets, including the capital world known as Planet Doom, and was governed by the blue-skinned race known as the Drules.
Military capacity[]
The military forces of the Supremacy often used battle droids with gray-and-black metallic chassis as foot soldiers, pilots of starfighters, and starship crews, with the flesh-and-blood Drules themselves as commanders and middle-level officers. Occasionally, however, the Drules and subject races were used as fighter pilots and foot soldiers.
Drule starfighters were yellow in color and armed with turbolasers. Fighters were equipped with hyperdrives but lacked shield generators. Larger Drule Supremacy military ships were black in color and were equipped with turbolasers, shield generators, hyperdrives, and often ground forces.
Robeasts[]
The Supremacy sometimes used monstrous cyborgs called "Robeasts" that were armed with turbolasers, claws, sharp teeth, flame-throwers, and the dark side of the Force as weapons. Such monsters could be as high as 30 or 40 feet tall.
Hagars[]
Certain female members of the Drule race were empowered to use the Force in the service of the Supremacy. They were often leaned to the dark side of the Force.
Government[]
The government of the Drule Supremacy was based on Planet Doom and was led by a male monarch called the Zarkon, who was aided by the heir to the throne (who was termed the Lotar) and a council of military commanders and aristocrats called the Yuraks.
Subject races[]
Living on the various worlds of the Supremacy were members of subject races, including Humans, Duros, and over a dozen other non-Drule races.
Relations with the Galactic Republic[]
The Supremacy was traditionally an enemy of the Old Republic, as it was a close ally of the Hutts and the Sith.
During the rise of Palpatine to Supreme Chancellor in 32 BBY, however, the Drules became allies of the Republic, and during the Clone Wars, sided with the Republic against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Relations with the Galactic Empire[]
The Drules were staunch allies of the Galactic Empire, and strong foes of the Rebel Alliance and the New Republic, as the ruling Zarkon was a close friend of Emperor Palpatine.
