The Dromada Authority was an ancient government which controlled the whole Dromada Galaxy, also known as Companion Grek. The Authority was a republic, with its President elected every thirty years. The President's power was rather limited, with the true power lying in the hands of the Senate. Senators were elected for each Authority member region every eight years. The Dromada Authority's capital was located at Tel Agua, which was also the seat of the legislative board, the Senate.
In the distant past, the Dromada Authority, when uniting the galaxy under its rule, was not adverse to using brutal and deadly force. Several militaristic and isolationist species were completely wiped out when the Authority united the galaxy. These actions were deleted from the official Dromada records, and hear-say about it ceased long before 90,000 BBY. By that time, a major civil war occured after the corruption of senators led to some planets being left without basic life necessities. The war lasted less than five years and the Dromada Authority consolidated power.
In or around 45,000 BBY another civil war broke out, but this was far less intense. It was mostly a protest against militarisation, and the Dromada Authority got rid of much of its military, it now becoming more of a figurehead to protect against possible out-of-galaxy invasions. That never came, and a few years after 30,000 BBY, a Tel Aguan by the name of Cholquek Et'nat'al was sent on a quest to visit distant galaxies, such as the one which Dromada orbited.
Cholquek returned after almost 30,000 years with a few inhabitants of the distant galaxy which Dromada orbited, and received a hero's welcome; apparently his legend was kept alive, though few were still alive from the era when he had left.
The Dromada Authority continued to prosper in peace, completely oblivious to the hardships occuring in the galaxy which it orbited, just as it had done so for millions of years. It would continue to do so for many more millions.
