The barren planet of Dorian, one closer to the system's sun than its neighbor Cato Neimoidia, was a planet in the Cato System in the Colonies region. All five of Dorian's moons were similarly barren, but with increasingly greater climatic ranges. Since the climate was inhospitable to the aquatic Neimoidians, it was left alone during initial Neimoidian expansion.

Fourth moon[]
During the Clone Wars, the quasi-habitable fourth moon of the system was settled as a Separatist arsenal, in case Cato Neimoidia or other purse worlds ever needed to be rearmed quickly. Following the War, the arsenal was emptied by the Imperial Army, then left alone.
The arsenal was rediscovered by Sith warlord Tak Sakaros during his conquest of Cato Neimoidia. When the Republic threatened the Sith forces, they set up camp in the abandoned arsenal. Following the subsequent conflict, the Sith retreated and the Dorian system as a whole was left to its own devices again.
