Dori was born into the Misty Falls Clan. A natural bully as a child, Dori enjoyed playing painfully and humiliating "games" with other children growing up. Naturally, this left her with no real friends and she looked to her older cousin, Toraleah Kaname, as both a role model and big sister.

Toraleah, then in her teens and endlessly bored by everything, had started to dabble in the dark side of the Force and recognized her younger cousin's strong potential. At last having something that really interested her, Toraleah began teaching Dori what she knew of the dark side and was pleased with how quickly her younger relation learned. Dori's sadistic habits continued to be a concern however. Especially as the number of animals showing clear signs of having been tortured and mutilated by a knife continued to turn up around the village.

The Clone Wars

Though unhappy at being forced to work as an agent of Count Dooku, Dori took no small amount of pleasure at the death and chaos the Clone Wars unleashed upon the galaxy. Indifferent to the politics of the situation, Dori instead focused on gaining greater control of her power and enforcing Verakan's policy of "leave no witnesses" when it came to Coven missions.

Night Falls on Kashyyyk

In 22 BBY the Coven were dispatched to the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk were they sabotaged a critical portion of the planet's power gird. Count Dooku offered the services of the Techno Union for no charge and power was quickly restored. This act gained Separatist supporters on Kashyyyk critical ground though they were unable to fully push the world into the Confederacy.

Clash on The Undying

In 22 BBY Dori and the rest of the Coven clashed with a Jedi strike force consisting of Master Luminara Unduli, Knights Bultar Swan and Jyuria Song and padawans Barriss Offee and Ahsoka Tano. Interrupting the Coven's search for Darth Scion's holocron, the two groups clashed aboard the wreckage of the ancient Sith warship Undying in the asteroid field that had once been Malachor V.

During the conflict Dori dueled Ahsoka Tano.

Nightsisters on Nar Shadda

Along with Toraleah in 21 BBY Dori traveled to Nar Shadda to investigate claims by Gulsa Vosadii Pidotu a.k.a. Gulsa the Hutt, that he had come into possession of a powerful dark side artifact; Exar Kun's lightsaber.

Personality and traits

Dori was an unrepentant sociopath and sadist whose chief pleasure in life was inflicting pain on others.

As part of her training to assimilate to galactic society once the Coven became agents of Dooku, Dori was taught Huttese and a bit of Bocce.

Powers and abilities

Dori was endowed with a great deal of raw potential in the Force which, combined with her wholehearted embrace of the Dark Side from childhood, allowed her to learn several Force powers rarely seen in those her age. Force Lightning was Dori's signature ability and one she used with both skill and relish. She also mastered Force Scream and Hatred which often lead her to take the roll of crowd control during especially combat heavy missions with the Coven.

Dori was capable of using telekinesis and favored the Force Choke ability when subtlety was needed. She was also able to use the Mind Trick ability but rarely employed this as her preferred solution to most problems was violence.

In terms of physical combat, Dori had above average skill in knife fighting. But her true strength was not in actual combat but in feigning so as to strike her enemies while they were flat footed or to simply lure them in close enough to hit them with a Force ability at point blank range. At the insistence of her cousin, Dori was trained in the use of the shoto to enhance her ability to combat lightsaber users by the Dark Jedi Kadrian Sey. Dori's shoto used a red Jenruax crystal provided by Count Dooku. Combined her her trusty knife, believed to to have been treated with Sith alchemy for use in dark rituals, made her a dangerous foe for anyone. Even a Jedi.
