The Depressor was a unique dreadnought created and utilized by General Naiko and his espionage crew during the Great Sith Civil War. Like other Rogue Sith ships, the bulk of the color was jet-black with red contrast. It was a special one of a kind Super Dreadnought and during the time of the Great Sith Civil War, it was the only one ever made.
When the Great Sith Civil War first started, Naiko had already been captain of the ship for some time - after overseeing its initial construction. The Depressor would, throughout the entire war, be used as the capital for the Rogue's fleet. While not roaming the galaxy, the ship orbited around Athiss - along with several other smaller ships to guard their base.
The Depressor was present during the First Battle of Dromund Kaas, the skirmish at Kalakor Six, and finally the Second Battle of Dromund Kaas where Naiko was killed in battle by Byron and his crew - who took control of the vessel afterward.
By the time the Great Galactic War started, the Depressor was no longer in service to the Empire's navy. However, certain parts of the ship were recycled and re-tooled for other artillery in the Sith's military fleet.
Behind the scenes[]
The Depressor resembles similar to the Super Star Destroyers used during the time of the Galactic Empire, and more specifically, the Executor. The only major differences between them are the coloring of the ships and the Depressor's slightly smaller size.
In Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: Fall of the Empire there are two possible fates for this ship: the player takes command of it after killing Naiko (if Byron's companion quest had been completed prior). Alternatively, the player destroys the ship either by blowing it apart from the inside (similar to the Ravager's fate) or by crashing the vessel into the jungles of Dromund Kaas. The climatic final duel with General Naiko serves as the finale for the game's Imperial Intelligence subplot and Byron's companion arc.
