Deordis Bevrelles was a male Human politician from Milagro during the New Sith Wars.
Early in his life, Bevrelles became convinced of the superiority of Sith philosophy and the New Sith Empire's model of governance. He emerged as a leader in the most pro-Sith party in Milagro's Parliament, though the party held only a handful of seats and was generally considered a political non-entity given Milagro's pronounced and deeply-ingrained neutrality in the war.
Matters changed when Vedya Gasald's forces conquered Milagro. Bevrelles supported the occupation, and rumors emerged that he had assisted in the invasion too. His support of the Sith was rewarded—he was appointed Prime Minister of Milagro after Darth Vaszas executed Sendur Sholbo. Though Halicon Karzded made most of the substantive decisions for Milagro, Bevrelles handled day-to-day matters and many harsh Sith decrees were passed in his name. He appointed Eldrin dar Grosskis his private secretary.
In 1,386 BBY, Mali Darakhan led a fleet to liberate Milagro, and on the third day of battle, his forces captured Rogeum and took Bevrelles prisoner. Darakhan had slain Karzded, leaving Bevrelles the highest-ranking prisoner of the new government. Bevrelles was tried by the Milagro War Crimes Tribunal, though he disputed its legitimacy. After months of trials, Bevrelles was found guilty of crimes including treason and murder and condemned to death.
Behind the Scenes[]
Deordis Bevrelles was heavily based on Vidkun Quisling, a Norwegian Prime Minister who collaborated with the Nazis.
