Long Live the Silver Revolution!

The Democratic Republic of Renatica, sometimes known as the Silver Republic and usually shortened simply to Renatica synonymous with its capital world of Renatica, was a government contained largely within the Renatica System of the Ethereal Demesnes. It was one of the relatively few members of the Diet of the Ethereal Demesnes which had little to no private industry, effectively no presence of the Ethereal Houses of nobility, nor any particularly strong religious body.
Initially settled as one of the Diet's cooperative colonial ventures, Renatica was colonized primarily by Ethereal Humans from the Grand Duchy of Cinnericium, the Lordship of Sanguinium, and the Kingdom of Luctanem, with some smaller groups coming from areas such as the Noctoren Imperium and the Great Kingdom of Patraia. However, it rapidly cut political ties with its various homeworlds, choosing instead to form a fully-independent government within one millennium of first settlement, the Renatican Union, which readily joined the Diet.
Within just one decade, though, the Union became unstable as political factions vied for power, and, soon, the situation descended into partisan violence. After several years of destructive conflict ravaging the entire system, a new political party, the Silverine Group, declared a revolution of the people to end the warfare and strife. Much of the populace rallied behind them, and soon, they had taken the capital city and renamed the government as the Democratic Republic of Renatica.
Within just two more years, virtually all fighting in the system had been put to a stop, and the Silverine Group became the dominant political force in the system, with its leftwards-aligned politics and collectivist economics serving the Renatican people well. Following this victory and subsequent social and economic recovery, Renatica became an icon of liberty in the Demesnes, showing the entire region that nobles, capitalists, aggressive colonization, constant war readiness, and all sorts of other commonalities of the Demesnes were utterly unnecessary for a functioning society. From this time on, the Silverine Group evolved with the times, and was still commonly considered to be highly progressive by the time of the Clone Wars, being among the bloc in the Diet which had recently organized the passage of a bill which required that any slave that entered the Demesnes' borders be considered legally emancipated.
