Darth Vaszas was a male Falleen Sith Lord during the New Sith Wars and an agent of the Sith Overlord Vedya Gasald. Gasald was physically flirtatious with Vaszas, as she was with some of her other subordinates, though it was unknown whether the two were lovers.
During the Conquest of Milagro, Vaszas commanded the second wave of the invasion force, primarily focused on subduing Milagro itself while Darth Hokhtan led the attack on the forces of Zirist Lakalt. Vaszas captured Rogeum, Milagro's capital city, and personally executed Prime Minister Sendur Sholbo. He governed Milagro from Rogeum for some days, fighting a growing resistance movement.
Some weeks into the conquest, Darths Hokhtan and Alecto shared their concerns that Jedi infiltrators had joined the resistance, and convinced Vaszas to prepare a trap for them. Though he did not believe the reports, Vaszas humored them; all three were surprised to discover that the Jedi actually had infiltrated Milagro when six of them stormed the legislative assembly building in Rogeum. Vaszas and Hokhtan dueled Jedi Master Sil Kadych together; though they held their own against the Umbaran Jedi for some time, Hokhtan eventually betrayed Vaszas by leaving his back open, and Kadych killed Vaszas with a lightsaber strike that split open his spine from tailbone to skull.
